This was the same room we stayed .. very spacious and affordable.. The kids were running all over the place :-)

The Sky Deck - We had breakfast here .. it was very windy and eventhough it was nearing 11.00 am and the sun was shining bright .. it was not hot at all.

My family and I went to Chennai in February to visit relatives.. We visited wajju bhaiyya's family and also Arshad's youngest uncle and his grandmother. The children had a great time playing on the roof top with the cousins whom they met for the first time. Samreen has grown tall and very intelligent since the last time I met her. Now she's 10 going on 11 .. such a brilliant young lady! Naureen looks up to her. Anyways, the visit to Chennai was brief and we spent the night at a 3 Star Hotel - Le Waterina Seaside Hotel which is located in Thiruvanmiyur, Kottivakam Beach, Chennai.Having breakfast with Daddy

It was just an overnight stop over but I wished that we could stay longer. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful! So here's some of review on the web regarding The Boutique Hotel. It is 4 km from the Crocodile Bank and 12 km from Chennai Central Railway Station. Anna International Airport is 15 km away. Waterina’s rooms come equipped with minibars and tea/coffee makers. Soundproofed rooms have trouser presses and offer flat-screen TVs. Rooms offer views of Bay of Bengal or the garden.

Guests can work out in the fitness centre or head for a relaxing massage. A concierge desk takes care of guests’ requests and needs. Sightseeing arrangements can be made at the tour desk.

Authentic Indian cuisine is served at Zaica, while offering panoramic sea views. Alternatively, drinks can be enjoyed in the bar and lounge. Room service is also available.

The Bay of Bengal

The food - Well being asians .. we do not have issues or problems eating authentic Indian food .. we have loads of 'em in Malaysia so in India .. its just the same. The price is quite cheap for a 3 Star Hotel and we're not that picky about food .. so to us it was DELICIOUS!

This menu is for ordering in .. if you want English breakfast .. just go to the Sky Deck. You'll get sausages, toasts, cereals, a variety of eggs, fresh fruits, juices, yougurt, chapati and dals.

For lunch, it costs us less than RM 40 for all four of us...
The menu ... hmm what should we eat .. then 30 minutes later ...

Delicious fried chicken and fries, chapatis and curries and white rice with lentil dals and vegetables.

Midnight - we were all tired but when entered the room, we were overwhelmed by the room.. we had a very good night sleep!

In summary, the staff was courteous, helpful and efficient. The hotel and the surrounding area was quite clean. The food was good .. again this may differ from person to person due to their taste buds ;-). Excellent ambiance .. especially the suite that we got. We were tired after a long journey so the first impression after arriving at the room at aroun 12 midnight was .. a gaping mouth .. it exceeds our expectation as we were comparing a 3 star hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Room service was good and on time delivering the food. Housekeeping was also good. We requested taxi last minute to go to the Chennai International Airport and we only need to wait in the room until they call us. Overall stay was good .. we will definitely come again! Yes I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Memo angan ku musnah

:-) kelakar topik hari ni ...
sebabnya .. semalam dan harini adalah hari memo kedatangan utk semua staff yg bermasalah dalam attendance.

Ingat lagi masa praktikal - dah la zero .. tak tahu nak aplikasi SQL tang mana... diberi manual sebesar kitab kitab zaman dolu utk di baca .. tajuk manual tu Oracle 8 User manual. Jadi kami bertiga mula la jadi biol - dapat kufahami perasaan trainee ku sekarang .. but I think he is much better off as masih ada tempat utk ditanya jika dibanding my exp. Well anyways .. kami mula buat statement stupid ..like 'OH .. Oracle angan ku musnah ' .... dan mula la merapu rapu sebab dah tension.

Now malam semalam check email dapat le memo angan ku musnah - aisehhh .. fed up tul.
dah kena ingat .. harap ini reminder terakhir. Okay boss .. aye aye ..

I can not promise la... anything can happen. I cover what the 15 minutes i was late .. buat kije you know but then all that doesn't count maa... official working hours is 9 to 6 maaa..... who ask you to come at 9.15???

adehhhh .. ni la rasa mcm nak buat mobile home .. park sebelah tempat kerja.. boleh???

Drafting regulations and policies and speeches

Its the end of the second day of drafting ...

hari pertama migraine .. hari kedua .. denyut denyut .. banyak perkara yg dipelajari from drafting policies..

rasa lega pun ada because the path on our governance structure sudah tidak kabur... luas lagi terang .. alhamdullillah.

balik from drafting terus email kepada relevan personnel on appointments on the next drafting of policy... 4 round lagi ..then baru bawa ke Majlis Tertinggi..

Thank You Allah .. for showing me the path and lessen one more task that has been entrusted to me. Insya Allah .. tinggal beberapa milestone lagi yang perlu ditempuhi.

Insya Allah .. I can make it .. and after that I'll be putting up a biggg smile .. like the chesire cat.

Oh btw, my daughter has been selected as one of the students who will be giving speach infront of the audience on her kindergarten graduation day!!!! Imagine .. out of 100++ 6 years old .. they chose Naureen!!!!! Hmmm I wonder which language she will be speaking .. malay or english??? I am sooo proud of your achievement naureen.

can't wait for October to come and see my daughter giving her first speech and graduation.

Deadlines .. deadlines

Its just days to go before I start my vacation. Well atleast I and my team members have finalised and submit the following so that HODs can start do their APAR:

1) APE
2) ASE
3) 2010 KPI Average
4) Overall incident/service requests tickets
5) ICT Awareness calendar - taken up by the not so new ISO.
6) PMO/Monthly report and servicedesk report - taken up by the not so new ISO.

Based on observation - he is doing good and the task I've assigned to him is in good hands. No need to worry! Training Calendar for new staff briefing is also completed.

We have also managed to finalised the BSC for 2010 with assistance from our ISO and part timer/practical trainee. They've done a good job these past 2 months.

The website is completed.. again thanks to Umi and Azizan who had finished the website on 31st December.

I think the last tasks before I leave for vacation is to ensure the UTICTEC minutes are distributed to all members, review policy documnent with legal and do a presentation slide for the big boss on Quality Service Delivery to New staff.

The three week vacation would be full with activities visiting family and also do some back log work on policies. Yes .. i am bringing work to India...what can I say .. I am a lousy person to boot la. I am targeting to have policies ammended within the weeks I'm in India... then when I come back - will start policy review meetings. Its high time i get back into gear to have the policies endorsed to the higher level- "The Majlis".

Good luck to me .. i really need it! Its 1.21 am .. I've to finish up the analysis la pula.
